Harbour
To travel to the Harbour, a minimum rank of Initiate is required. Standard cheese is still used in this location and this is the first area where mice are able to steal gold, points and extra pieces of cheese if a hunter fails to catch them. There is a Cartographer and a General Store but no Cheese Shoppe so hunter's must stock up on cheese from the Meadow or Town of Gnawnia when hunting in this location.
Description
Full of fresh air and plenty of sunshine, the Harbour seems to attract the types of mice who boast of sea salt in their veins.

Hunting Strategies/Setups
This is the first location where hunters can lose points, gold and cheese from failing to catch a mouse. So hunters should avoid using weaker traps. As a minimum, a hunter should have the Mouse Trebuchet or Mouse Rocketine. All traps, except parental ones, are effective here. Once a hunter is able to afford the Swiss Army Mouse Trap, it is much more worthwhile to hunt here rather than the Town of Gnawnia or Windmill.
Once again, cheese such as Marble or Cheddar should be used. Hunter's now also have the option of crafting White Cheddar cheese which has the same attraction as Cheddar but doesn't attract White, Brown or Grey mice and only attracts the more valuable breeds.
The Dehydration Base blueprints can be purchased and at the next rank, Splintered Wood can be obtained. Once a hunter has access to these items, they are encouraged to craft this base.

Hunting Tips by Larry
Welcome to the Harbour, MouseHunter! I just love that cool breeze that comes in off the ocean, don’t you?
The mice in this area are a little bit cheekier than those found in Town of Gnawnia or the Meadow. They may just steal some of your points or gold if you fail to catch them.
If you need to upgrade your trap or purchase more cheese, you will have to travel back to town. If you’re in the market for a new trap, may I recommend a Rocketine trap or Mouse Trebuchet?
Be on the lookout for a particularly crafty Granite mouse that has been rumored to be carrying a torn piece of the map. Should you find this mouse and obtain the map piece, it will be added to your map, adding a new hunting location!
When you reach the next title of Journeyman, you'll be able to move to another hunting ground. View your map to see what locations you have discovered.
Happy hunting!
